LADIPOE Returns With ‘Revival’  The Album That Could Redefine Nigerian Rap. After years of anticipation, Nigerian rap heavyweight LADIPOE is finally back and this time, he’s not just releasing an album; he’s making a statement.

The Mavin Records star has officially unveiled Revival, his long-awaited sophomore album, released on July 17, 2026. More than just a collection of songs, Revival is a deeply personal journey through identity, faith, purpose, resilience, and African excellence, showcasing the lyrical brilliance that has made LADIPOE one of the continent’s most respected rappers.

Widely regarded as a leading voice in Nigeria’s rap renaissance, LADIPOE has consistently challenged the boundaries of African hip-hop by fusing razor-sharp lyricism with Afro-fusion, soul, and contemporary sounds. From his breakout success with “Feeling” featuring Buju to the critically acclaimed Providence EP, he has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful music without compromising mainstream appeal.

The 16-track project features an exciting lineup of local and international collaborators, including South Africa’s Maglera Doe Boy, UK rapper Pa Salieu, Nigeria’s Taves, and Houston neo-soul singer Jastin Martin, adding fresh perspectives to an already ambitious body of work.

‘Revival’ Tracklist

  1. Revival
  2. I No Be God
  3. Folasade
  4. Olufunmi
  5. 007
  6. Ecosystem (feat. Maglera Doe Boy)
  7. Hallelujah (feat. Taves)
  8. Jaiye (feat. Jastin Martin)
  9. Adulthood Anthem
  10. Shine
  11. Pray For Me
  12. Legacy
  13. Different
  14. Homecoming (feat. Pa Salieu)
  15. African Dream
  16. Outro: Rebirth

Each track reflects a different chapter of LADIPOE’s evolution, balancing introspective storytelling with confident declarations of growth and purpose. Whether reflecting on personal struggles, celebrating African identity, or exploring spirituality, the rapper delivers some of his most vulnerable and refined work to date.

With Revival, LADIPOE isn’t simply returning to the spotlight—he’s raising the bar for Nigerian rap. The album is a bold reminder that lyricism, authenticity, and innovation still have a powerful place in today’s music landscape, making Revival one of the year’s most significant African music releases.

  • A mother's emotional story about raising twins without breast milk has sparked conversations online, as she reminded other parents that every motherhood journey looks different. The mother shared the progress of her twins after a debate erupted over comments that appeared to criticise women who use baby formula instead of exclusively breastfeeding. The conversation started when a mother posted photos of the tins of formula her baby had consumed. Mummy Zee, who gained popularity years ago after sharing how she woke up early during pregnancy to cook for her husband, responded that exclusive breastfeeding is always cheaper. Her comment quickly divided social media users. While some people agreed with her and criticised mothers who rely on formula, many others pushed back. Several mothers explained that exclusive breastfeeding was not always possible due to health challenges, work demands and other personal circumstances. Some fathers also shared reasons why their wives could not breastfeed exclusively. Amid the debate, one mother shared photos of her twins and opened up about her own experience. “My twins never tasted breast milk,” she wrote. She explained that she struggled physically and emotionally while trying to produce milk but nothing worked despite the efforts made to help her. “I remember feeling afraid and ashamed,” she said. However, she chose to trust that her children would be fine. “Today, my babies are healthy. They are top of their classes. Life happens. I’m beyond grateful,” she added. Her message has encouraged many parents online, with several people sharing their own experiences and emphasising that a child's wellbeing goes beyond the method used to feed them.
