Nazanin Mandi is stepping into a new chapter, with the model and media personality announcing her engagement to her partner, Michael, years after her marriage to singer Miguel ended.
Mandi revealed the news on Instagram on Monday, September 21, sharing a glimpse of the moment Michael asked her to marry him.
The model described the proposal as a “complete fairytale” and spoke warmly about the relationship she now shares with her fiancé.
According to Mandi, their bond is built on love, peace and mutual respect. She described Michael as a rare person who has changed her life in a deeply meaningful way.
Her post also appeared to hint at a growing family.
Mandi referenced their plans for a shared home, everyday family routines and “the expansion of our family & legacy,” leading to speculation that she may be expecting her first child.
The announcement marks a major change in Mandi’s personal life after her long relationship with Miguel came to an end.
Mandi and the R&B singer first began dating in 2005 and remained together, with periods of separation, for about 17 years.
They eventually exchanged vows in 2018 but divorced in 2022.
Miguel has since found love with Margaret Zhang, the former editor-in-chief of Vogue China.
The singer revealed last month that Zhang is expecting their second child. The couple are already parents to a two-year-old son, Angelito.
Miguel’s relationship with Zhang previously became the subject of speculation because of the timing surrounding his split from Mandi.
There were allegations that the singer had been unfaithful during his marriage. Miguel rejected those claims, insisting that he met Zhang only after his marriage had ended.
He previously said their first meeting happened at an event they had not originally planned to attend and maintained that the relationship began after his divorce.
With her engagement announcement, Mandi now appears to be looking ahead to a new family chapter of her own with Michael.
Her fans and followers have since flooded the announcement with congratulatory messages as she celebrates the latest milestone in her life.
