They argued that the singer did not disrespect Wande Coal during the interview.

Ubi Franklin also weighed in on the matter.
He explained that Davido appeared to be giving context about the “Come My Way” remix.
According to Ubi, Wande Coal may have had his reasons for releasing the original song first.
He noted that the singer could then have planned to add Davido’s verse later.
However, Ubi said the two artistes should have discussed the plan before Davido recorded his verse.
He also dismissed the idea that Davido was attacking Wande Coal.
Ubi argued that Davido did not appear to have any personal problem with the singer.
Instead, he said Davido was simply explaining what happened behind the unreleased collaboration.
Ubi added that artistes can discuss the business side of their music without it becoming a personal dispute.
