After claiming to make N2.5 million a month from selling roasted maize, a Nigerian woman went viral.
Interestingly, Her disclosure follows weeks after First Lady Remi Tinubu encouraged low-income Nigerians to launch low-capital ventures like kuli kuli, roasted maize on the side of the road or fried akara.
Moreso, the profitability of such firms has been the subject of internet debates. A woman approached the roadside corn vendor and enquired about her earnings. To the surprise of many, the woman replied, “I make like N2.5 million a month.”
