Man Held After Alleged Break-In at Kim Kardashian’s £44m Home
Kim Kardashian’s luxurious Hidden Hills mansion has reportedly been targeted in a suspected break-in.
Authorities arrested a man at the reality TV star’s property on Sunday, August 9.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner confirmed the arrest to the Los Angeles Times. Officers reportedly found the unidentified suspect at Kardashian’s home after responding to a call about the incident.
According to reports, the man allegedly loaded some of Kardashian’s belongings into a car. He then reportedly tried to escape using one of the star’s own vehicles.
However, his alleged getaway attempt did not last long.
Police arrested the suspect without resistance. Authorities later booked him into the Los Angeles County Jail on suspicion of burglary.
The incident reportedly happened around 4pm. Fortunately, Kardashian and her family were not at the property when the alleged break-in occurred.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Kardashian, 45, and her children currently live elsewhere. Workers are reportedly carrying out work at the massive property.
The Hidden Hills mansion covers approximately 15,667 square feet and holds significant history for the reality star.
Kardashian originally purchased the property with her former husband, rapper Kanye West, in 2014.
The latest incident has once again highlighted the security concerns surrounding the homes of high-profile celebrities.
